Know Jesus

Have you ever longed for a perfect family or relationship that won’t let you down? The Bible says that it’s possible! God loves you and wants to be close to you, if you are willing. Our selfish pride is the only thing that keeps us from experiencing the most precious relationship we will ever know (Romans 3:23). When we finally decide to give up our self-centered, sinful lifestyle and receive God’s forgiveness, our past can be gone and we can have a new beginning! (I John 1:9, II Corinthians 5:17)
God gave His Son, Jesus, and allowed Him to be put to death. Then, miraculously, He raised Him from the dead, so that we could have this amazing new life and relationship with God (John 3:16). Jesus paid the penalty for our selfishness, with His death on a cross, so that we could receive forgiveness and be close to our maker. Salvation is a FREE GIFT (Ephesians 2:8-9). John 1:12, says that those who receive forgiveness from Jesus and believe in Him can become God’s children. Just imagine!! We can finally have a perfect parent and a dad who never makes mistakes! Not only that, we can be saved from our past and the things that haunt us by believing in what Jesus accomplished on the cross and then telling others about it (Romans 10:9-11). Our lives can be transformed NOW by the power of God’s Spirit in us (Romans 12:1-2) and we’ll be ready for eternal paradise in heaven when we leave this life on earth (John 14:1-3).
