Sunday School

children-4-christ Children 4 Christ

We’re inspiring a future full of hope and power for our children in a way that’s exciting and teeming with adventure!  In C4C, we learn together the amazing stories in the Bible about men and women of faith and what the word, “faith,” means. Each week we have a new memory verse and games that put the children in the middle of our story of the day; then we go back week after week and build on the stories, reminding the children what we’ve learned together and how we can become better people because of what God is teaching us.  God inspires the growth but watching and being a part of it is the greatest blessing of all. Each new week is an imaginative adventure and each child is a gift.  The faith of children is precious to God. We’re here to bring that faith to life!

Transformation Youth

transformation-class-logo Our world has got to change but the change starts with us. Extreme Transformation is the ultimate goal as we take our messed-up lives before Christ and let God recreate us into powerful revolutionaries. This is not your old-school, superficial, sleepy, Sunday morning class. Transformation is a teen and young adult class where we’re connecting with the Bible and each other on a deeper level for a higher personal goal: fighting for what’s right and not what’s comfortable. Our theme verse is Romans 12:2 that says, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

foundation-of-family Foundation of Family

God’s life-changing Word has answers for every issue we face in our families. In the Foundations of Family class, Pastor Bruce and Brenda lead a diverse group of married couples, single-parents, and others who are interested in learning the basics of family life. Topics in the class include: the pursuit of holiness in our individual lives and relationships, guarding the gates of our lives (by guarding what we see, hear, say, and do), and the effect of worldly media on our families’ value systems. We are also studying the Biblical keys of God’s kingdom (Matthew 16:19) and the principles that are necessary to receive God’s best. This is an intimate and interactive teaching environment. People pray for each other and help to meet one another’s needs.

The Gap Class (God Answers Prayer)

gap-logo_0 Married, single, with children or childless, empty-nesters and new grandparents, we’re experienced in life and still learning. The Gap class is a place where we put our lives into perspective… God’s perspective. We want our spiritual life to fill-in the empty places and influence our physical life, not the other way around. Maybe we prayed to receive Jesus Christ a while ago or maybe we’re just beginning again but at our age and stage in life it’s always time to listen and be used by God. The atmosphere here is relaxed and everyone participates. We’ve found our input and experience to be a help to others as God is working in all our lives. Above all, we’re here to pray for each other and be a support for the journey even as we love and mentor the next generation.

What is a disciple? How do you become a disciple of Jesus Christ? How do you know you are a disciple? What does a disciple of Jesus do? These questions are all answered in our study “The maturing of a disciple.” Our theme verse, II Timothy 3:15 tells us that we “…have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given [us] the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.” We are always learning and growing. As long as God gives us breath, He has given us a purpose and a calling. Together, we have the opportunity to discover and share the treasured blessings of life in the service of Jesus Christ our Lord.
